Nasty Frequency was established in 2024, almost a year after Mothstudio Productions, a recording studio with over 15 years of service in the rock and heavy music scene, had to close its doors due to a mandatory relocation. Moving to a new facility presented us with a rare opportunity, which we decided to seize...A new beginning.
Be it a full production or just a single song, we offer recording packages and mixing and mastering services either on location or remotely. Dozens of artists have entrusted us with their music, ideas, dreams and needs over the years.
Our name and brand might be new, but our experience and professionalism have been carefully and thoroughly crafted over almost two decades of studio and live sound sessions.

SERVICES
MIXING
A good mix is the backbone of all great productions. Attention to detail, precision editing, clarity and balance are some of the elements in our mixes. The most important of them all though, is respect to the original material. We aspire to preserve the character in your music and enhance on that to achieve a great mix that will above all compliment and serve your material.
We won't beat around the bush. We have mixed various genres, but rock and metal is our bread and butter.
MASTERING
The glue that brings it all together. A final touch to take your mix one step further and make it sound as it should in different places, be it digital streaming services or analog media such as vinyl and CD.
RECORDING
We might not be a big studio but we take pride in our equipment and we know how to use it well and take the best out of it.
Is it a single? An EP? A whole album production? In every case, you will find a variety of tube amps and mics along with two drum sets to help create and capture the sound you have in mind.
The choices become even more when we include our digital amp plugins and IR's from some of the best companies in the field.
